UAE Free Zones explained for Moroccan founders

What a Free Zone is

Free Zones are economic areas in the UAE with their own authorities, licences and packages. Each one lists the activities it allows, its office requirements and its yearly renewal costs.

What to compare

The activities you need on your licence, the total yearly cost, visa allocation if relevant, and how banks view companies from that zone. A cheap licence is not always the cheapest structure over three years.

Residency and tax, honestly

Some packages include a residence visa application for eligible applicants, but a company never guarantees it. UAE corporate tax applies, and forming a UAE company does not by itself change your obligations as a Moroccan tax resident.

What payment providers usually ask for, and why

Why providers ask questions

Payment providers are regulated and must understand who they work with. Paused payouts are often a request for information, not a final decision.

What is usually requested

A registered business in a supported country, identity and address documents, a website with clear products, prices, terms and refund policy, and sometimes proof of where your income comes from.

How to prepare

Make sure your legal entity, your website and your documents tell the same story. We prepare that file with you; approval always remains the provider's decision.
